Day 1: Momella Gate to Miriakamba Hut
Momella Gate (1,500 meters) to Miriakamba Hut (2,514 meters):
Begin your trek at Momella Gate in Arusha National Park.
Trek through lush montane forest, encountering wildlife along the way.
Reach Miriakamba Hut, your overnight accommodation, nestled in the forest.
Day 2: Miriakamba Hut to Saddle Hut
Miriakamba Hut to Saddle Hut (3,570 meters):
Depart from Miriakamba Hut and ascend through the forest.
Pass through heather and moorland, ascending to Saddle Hut.
Spend the night at Saddle Hut, situated between Little Meru and Mount Meru.
Day 3: Summit Day and Descent to Momella Gate
Saddle Hut to Summit (4,566 meters) and Momella Gate:
Begin the summit ascent before dawn, trekking through challenging terrain.
Reach the summit of Mount Meru, Uhuru Peak, for sunrise.
Enjoy panoramic views before descending back to Saddle Hut for breakfast.
Descend further to Momella Gate, where you'll sign out and conclude the trek.
