Today's trek takes you to higher altitudes as you ascend towards Lava Tower, an iconic volcanic formation standing at approximately 4,600 meters (15,100 feet) above sea level. This segment of the hike serves as a crucial acclimatization exercise, allowing your body to adjust to the reduced oxygen levels at higher elevations. The summit bid begins in the early hours of the morning, with headlamps lighting the way as you ascend through the darkness. Stepping carefully and steadily, you'll navigate the rocky terrain and steep slopes, each step bringing you closer to your goal. As the first light of dawn breaks on the horizon, you'll reach Stella Point, a significant milestone on your journey to the summit. From there, a final push takes you to Uhuru Peak, the highest point on Mount Kilimanjaro and the culmination of your adventure. Standing atop Uhuru Peak, you'll savor the breathtaking views and celebrate your achievement with your fellow trekkers.
